Start of IA

Started IA on 17 Dec (mon)..

Supposed to bring labtop to work & surprisingly, I'm v glad to do so. After the first day, I realised how boring it can be for an intern in the office. Also, it helps that my workplace is near my hse (15mins bus ride). So compared to NUS, so much more willing to bring. Also, can use msn, facebook, etc when using one's own labtop! Think if it was the company's.. all those wld b blocked. Haha..

2nd Day
Been facebookin + surfing the net for 2 hrs in the morn.. Then went to the plant site with my 'mentor'. The client's place is at Changi.. Pretty cool, my mentor showed me ard, explaned all the tanks+pipes+pumps+valves etc to me.. Even climbed up ladders! Haha.. Sounds hard work? Not really la, its not outdoors under the sun but in a big room.. Pretty cool. Didn't have to wear any safety outfits (no helmets, gloves etc) The only real outdoor part was the rooftop, where I saw the scrubbers..

Back in office by lunch.. Then went out for lunch again with Candice, Nicky & Allan.. Candice is my HR.. They r all quite young I think.. Mayb late 20s? Too bad 2 of them gg on leave over x'mas. No more lunch kakis! We drove out to eat.. yday was eunos today was lavender. Haha.. Luckily my mentor gt car.. if nt have to eat canteen food!

Dinner Date! Tom Yum Yummy!

Shopped ard with pf today-taka & wisma, walked till legs quite suan.. Then went Food Republic for dinner. The tom yum soup is good! big bowl & very shuang to slurp down the whole bowl (inclusive of the soup) ! Ha. Didn't buy anything today but its ok. Anw I take quite some time b4 I decide to buy anything.

Oh ya, saw Marilyn n her friend.. Then saw Jenny n Joyce. And Maggie n her bf. And Zhou Chu Meng n his family! Hahaha.. Finally met wb today. Didn't c her for mths le. Though only for a short while, managed to talk to her quite abit. :)

Starting work next Mon.. Dreading....

Chalet 5-7 Dec 2007

CHALET
Spent 3 days, 2 nights at Downtown East! The photo are those early-birds, those who arrived on the first day-afternn! Played many rounds of S-tie di. Too bad the weather wasn't tt friendly. Keeps raining! Furthermore, its intermittent rain! Argh. Couldn't go cycling at all on the 2 days. The first night went clubbing then the 2nd night was bbq.
