my jap class

Been taking it since the start of this yr.. its a re-fresher cum new knowledge class for me cuz its been such a long time since I last stopped taking. Hm, about 5 yrs ago? That SO long for language! Tend to forget some grammar, vocabulary and stuff. Haha.. And more imptly, listening skills~

This class is my 3rd term class, my classmates changes every term cuz pple tend to go and new pple join. But majority of them (in fact everyone in this pic) is from my 2nd term class..

Y we took this photo: LOL

Toshito came to class v late, just 15 mins before the class is about to END. With his white suit and pants (sniggle), and a TROPHY! His Jap is very fluent so of course he explained to the teacher in Jap. I was too stunned and couldn't catch much of this words, except he won some TOURISM competition. And part of the competition is Q&A and CATWALK! Thats explains the band around his neck. No wonder he still come to class 15 mins before....

My teacher is the one in the centre, standing beside the orange girl & beside the 2 guys. This is the 3rd pic we took that day, so supposed to be act cute. So her face is slightly tilted.

日本のBBQ

Just came back from a bbq. It was すごいね!It was organised by Jayne, my classmate (her husband is Jap). It was my first 'adult bbq' cuz there are Jap housewives & kids ard! Yup, its Jasmine bday today (Jas is also my classmate & her husband is also Jap). Both took up Jap cuz they wanna improve their writing skills though their Spoken skills is alr 一番です。

Woa! It was a JAPANESE BBQ! LOL. First we had origiri. (triangular rice) with different fillings! It was おいしいね!Then followed by yakitori and Jap salad. The Pork Chop was MISO-flavoured! LOL. There's also Salmon! ALL the FOOD is SO GOOD. OMG! And according to my other classmates who helped out with the peh-kang, there was NO BUTTER at all. THe whole night, I didn't even touch a drop of CHILI! Lol. BBQ without sambal stingray or otah or Satay. This is really a first and it is unbelievably delicious & so healthy.

Most of the time chatting with my classmates & Jasmine who can entertain V well. Only towards the later part, when Jayne's husband & Jap friend joined us, then I had a chance to converse in Jap. Hahaha....

The Jap kids are sooo 可愛いね. The girls so cute & the boys r also quite handsome. Too bad, most of them r only pri sch. Jayne's jap friends r also とても friendly. And with Jayne's 3rd daughter around - a Shih Tsu, everything is just いいですね!

Too lazy...

TOo lazy to cont with my blog abt vietnam.. Its all in the photos, though i wanted to write down exactly what i've done each day. Cuz there were many of my 1st times:

Riding a motorbike on the mountainous slopes of Sapa - the feeling was great, to see 6 of us, each on a bike riding the winding slopes to visit ethnic tribes! I've visited such tribes in China before, but that was a tour.. The whole exp of just ourselves exploring is really quite shiok..

Overnight on trains to Sapa - 1st time sleeping on trains! Actually i nvr even took trains before (not even to malaysia), so the feeling was really exciting! 4 of us to a room, bunk beds. The train was much cleaner than i expected and the air-con was freezing cold. It was a 8 hrs ride fr Hanoi to Sapa and again overnight train back to Hanoi.

Overnight on a boat - 1st time spent a night on a boat! It a big boat, with 3 levels. Though not as luxurious as a yatch or cruise, overall its v relaxing, to be able to lie down on the top deck and watch Halong Bay (many limestones islands passing by & the hot wind blowing at ur face..) Even bathing was hilarious, cuz u can feel the boat rocking.. And the other grp of Phillipines businessmen with their wives.. The uncles r so funny.. Make me laugh throughout the trip with their sense of humor..

Homestay at Mekong Delta - 1st time staying in a local's home overseas!! Warm friendly family & a v gd tour guide makes the stay unforgettable.. Lying around on the hammock at night after dinner, playing with the puppy dog, and even Jo end up sleeping with the family cat! It was v funny that the cat crept to her bed at night.. Plus feeding the crocodiles at the crocodile farm nearby.. Simple way to pass our day..

Of cuz there are many hilarous things that happen along the way, too difficult to describe in words. Although some of us fall sick towards the end of the trip, including me with a v bad cough.. it was really a v enjoyable trip.. Looking forward to TRAVELLING!
